Often when reviews and endorsements are received for our DVD on education concerning teenage dating, sexual decision-making, and safety titled HELP! My Teen Is Dating. Real Solutions to Tough Conversations, the praise is being given by an educator or head of a parenting organization. What is unique about today’s endorsement is this time the reviewer is a TEENAGER who watched the DVD with her Mom!

Who knew I would be inspired by a sexist TV sitcom scene discussing porn over the holiday break? While working out over, I had the TV on. The show on TV was “According to Jim” starring Jim Belushi. The three men in the scene are about to watch a DVD they received in the mail titled something like “Cuties Gone Wild.” Two of the men are married (their wives are sisters) and the 3rd guy is the sisters’ brother.

To start off 2010, we have a powerful example of bystander intervention which took place in Alberton, South Africa which resulted in stopping a robbery and potentially a rape from occurring. Louis Venter, a former traffic officer, discovered his neighbors were being robbed and immediately intervened.
