Build a Culture of Respect with the
“RESPECT” Assembly.
The “RESPECT” Assembly is focused on getting students to speak UP for others, for themselves, to catch themselves before they act in a disrespectful manner and to equip each student with NEW RESPECTFUL ways to respond in each moment.
Program Overview/Takeaways
In each 45 to 60 minute “RESPECT” Assembly, the content is customized to fit the students participating and the school culture. If Mike is sharing with 6th grade students or Seniors in high school, he tailors each lesson to be age appropriate. Your students will discover specific how-to skills for:
- Discovering the "9 Daily Displays of Disrespect"
- Understand the VALUE of EVERY person.
- Intervene on Behalf of Their Peers and Others.
- Speak UP for themselves.
- Choose the "9 Daily Choices FOR RESPECT."
- Build a healthier school culture.
Over 92% of students say they the following after experiencing Mike's program:
- "I have more skills for treating others and myself with respect."
- "I am now ready to help build a stronger culture of respect throughout our school."
Every time Mike speaks at our school, he discusses dating, consent and sexual assault with empathy and humor. His engaging presentation makes a strong impression on students and gives educators, and parents, footing to have meaningful conversations with these young adults. I highly recommend bringing Mike to your school.
Jim PlinePrincipal, Oregon High School (WI)
"Bringing Mike to speak with our students has helped to positively shift the culture and the realities of how our students interact with each other. Nowadays, when we find students in any type of sexual scenario (from kissing to more), they have all been clear that consent was discussed and agreed upon as part of their interaction. That outcome is directly correlated with Mike's annual presentation to the student body at our school. Our students live the skills Mike teaches around consent and respecting boundaries."

A masterful balance of humor, sincerity, and critical engagement that helps students take an honest look at their experience and make choices that are consistent with their highest values.

The high school and middle school students were talking for days about "SAFER Choices" and the impact you had. One student shared, “someone finally put it in terms we can understand.” You truly have a unique place in the area of sexual assault prevention and education. Thank you, many times over!

Mike Domitrz was one of the best, if not the best speaker we have had in 17 years here. He didn't talk 'at' the students or try to be 'cool'. We are in a very tough battle because the kids see and hear so much in the news that goes against basic human morality and this message of tolerance, humanity and kindness needs to be delivered over and over.
Marguerite GreenAsst Director of Student Activities, Bishop O'Dowd High School
"I have been working in independent schools for over 20 years and your combination of inclusive language, humor, warmth, passion, skill, clear content, empathy and emotional intelligence made for an impressive presentation that impacted their heads and hearts. The message has stayed with our students and we are receiving wonderful feedback. WOW! SO good."

While any work on consent and sexual assault can be touchy and even polarizing, you managed to bridge the gaps and get our most stubborn players onside. Everyone agreed that you were amazing.
