University of Georgia is taking ACTION to make a difference

Over 900 college women at the University of Georgia took action this afternoon to make a difference on their campus. They agreed to intervene and “Be a Friend” when a friend is in a situation involving intimacy and alcohol use. They committed to “Asking First” and always supporting survivors of sexual assault.

After a full day of hearing speakers, they closed the day with the “Can I Kiss You?” program – an honor I am grateful for. In discussing how too often women are labeled sluts, this group decided to send a strong statement in the below video:
