What IS sex?

Since the President Clinton and Monica Lewinsky situation, the question has continued to be debated in our culture. What IS sex?

How do schools define it? How does the definition vary from institutions of faith, families, teenagers, to the differing laws in individual states?

What if the standard definition was the following?

When two individuals engage with each other for the purpose of sexually satisfying or fulfilling at least one of the partners.

How would such an inclusive definition impact the way we discuss, treat, and educate about sex? For example, many teenagers and adults who practice abstinence might not engage in oral sex anymore because oral sex would clearly be having sex.
