Today at Fort Detrick in Maryland, I was honored to be the opening speaker for their kickoff of Sexual Assault Awareness and Child Abuse Awareness Month. The Commander on base gave a very passionate talk about ending Child Abuse and endorsed the importance of the presentation we were about to give. Both programs went great! The men and women were wonderful to work with.
In addition to the “Can I Kiss You?” presentation, several units presented skits and they had a speaker from the local domestic/child abuse shelter. Great job, everyone, bringing important issues to the forefront of discussion.
