Be a Friend. Pay YOUR Way

When you go out this weekend with your boyFriend or girlFriend, be a Friend and pay your way!

By doing so, you are treating each other fairly and you remove all possibilities for someone to mistakenly believe money spent on a date means “something” is expected for the cash spent.

How do you take this approach without sounding presumptuous? After all, you might not want to start the night with, “You are not paying for me because you are not getting anything from me tonight!

Be positive and have fun with your approach. Say,

I’d love to go out with you. Since we are both going out to have a great time tonight, it is not fair that you should have to pay for everything. I’ll pay my expenses. You pay yours. And we’ll both have a great time together!!
