This video is part of a series Mike is doing. EVERY DAY in February we launch a new video as part of recognizing February as “Teen Dating Violence Awareness & Prevention Month.”

Why Is It on the Guy by Teen Dating Violence Prevention Speaker and Expert, Mike Domitrz with The Date Safe Project.

In this video, we’ll discuss the stereotype of gender roles and that “its all on the guys” verses girls, women, boys, men and the dangers of that mindset. Parents (Moms and Dads), educators, leaders, teens, pre-teens, and people of all ages should know the content of this video. Middle schools, high schools, and universities should be sharing this video with students of all genders, expressions, identities, and sexual orientation. To reduce sexual violence of all kinds (sexual assault, sexual harassment, and rape), we need to create a culture of respect. We need to teach sex education that includes consent, bystander intervention, and supporting survivors.
